Reach Out Foundation is a registered non-governmental, non-profit making and humanitarian organization that aims to uplift the livelihood of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) by bringing empowerment to these children through food aid programs, educational assistance, rehabilitation programs as well as establishing projects that will give these children means to build sustainable lifestyle.

Our Mission

To consistently help Orphans and Vulnerable Children in our communities by developing kills that empower these children mentally, financially to enable them become self sufficient. Understand the problems faced by Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) and create an environment that realizes, respects, protects and advocates for their needs as well as rights.

Our Objectives

  • Create and foster an environment conducive for the development of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs). Assist in the development and empowerment of Orphans and Vulnerable
  • Children (OVCs) linking them to opportunities that will add value to their lifestyle.
  • Provide relief to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) in form of food aid, rehabilitation programs, education assistance and empowerment projects as well as programs.

Our Logo

The Logo is a symbol that represents a united group of happy people with the color GREEN representing the Organization’s strong rootsin empowering beneficiaries in projects that promotes farming to enable food security and support the Food Aid Program, BLUE representing the Organization’s vision to expand beyond the Zimbabwean boarders, PINK representing the Organization’s strong will to fight cancer as well as support cancer survivors, GOLDEN YELLOW represents the Organization’s mission to empower Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) through Weath creation programs as well as projects.

Our Leadership

Reach Out Foundation was founded by Mr Dumisani. I Hamandishe on the 12th of August 2020. Mr Hamandishe is the Visionary of the Foundation as well as the Chief Operations Officer on the Board of Trustees.

Reach Out Foundation is led by the Board of Trustees which is chaired by Mr Ronald D. Mhundwa and the board has 11 members. On the board there is Mr Gayson Tembo who is the Chief Finance Officer, Mrs Lorraine C. Hamunakwadi who is the Director of Human Resources , Mrs Tsivai H Gumbo who the Director of Social Work, Mr Christmas Vutuzah who is the Director of Business Development and International Relations , Mrs Gugulethu Mutumbi who is the Director of Projects Development and Management, Miss Sharon Mapengo who is the Secretary of the board, Miss Leslie L. Mutembedza (Trustee), Miss Shalom Muzavazi (Trustee) and Mrs P Marufu (Trustee). The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall decision making and governance of the Foundation.

Reach Out Foundation operates in all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe with an executive board in each province with a National Board of Directors that is responsible for the running of the organization at national level. The National Board of Directors is being led by Miss Nyasha Dube who is the Chairperson of the board with a 11 member board that executes the duties of the board.

The organization operate in all 10 Provinces in Zimbabwe:

In each province we have a Provincial Executive Board of Directors which is incharge of projects and programs management in the respective province.
